Who We Are

More Than a Nonprofit.
A Movement.

The Michael Adrian Davis Foundation was built on a simple but radical idea: that the people of Memphis have everything they need to transform their own community — they just need the infrastructure to do it.

We are not a charity that parachutes in with solutions. We are a community foundation that builds from the inside out — through media, mentorship, economic development, and the collective power of the village.

Everything we do flows through three pillars — Wisdom, Wellness, and Wealth — and is sustained by the Fantastic 5000: 5,000 people committing $20/month to build a stronger Memphis together.

The Framework

Three Pillars. One Mission.

Every program, every initiative, every dollar we raise flows through one of these three pillars. This is the architecture of change.

Wisdom

Knowledge is the foundation of every breakthrough. We equip individuals and families with mentorship, education, and the tools to make informed decisions that create generational change.

Financial Literacy Workshops
Mentorship Matching
Community Education Series

Wellness

You cannot build a thriving community on broken bodies and broken spirits. We address mental, physical, and spiritual health as the non-negotiable foundation of everything else.

Mental Health Access Initiative
Wellness Resource Navigation
Faith & Community Partnerships

Wealth

Economic power is not a luxury — it is a right. We build pathways to financial independence through entrepreneurship support, resource access, and community investment.

Entrepreneur Accelerator
Emergency Financial Assistance
Black Business Development

"The village doesn't wait to be called. We show up — before the crisis, during it, and after."

— Michael Adrian Davis, Founder

Where We Work

Rapid-response financial assistance for families facing unexpected crises — because emergencies don't wait.

Education

Scholarships, tutoring, and educational pathways that open doors for Memphis youth and adults.

Healthcare Access

Connecting underserved communities to healthcare resources, screenings, and wellness programs.

Military Veterans

Honoring and supporting the men and women who served — with resources, community, and dignity.

How We Operate

Our Operating Values

01

Accountability

Every dollar is tracked. Every program is measured. Every result is reported to the community we serve.

02

Proximity

We don't serve from a distance. Our team lives in the communities we work in — because proximity is credibility.

03

Sustainability

We build systems, not charity. The goal is always to create lasting infrastructure, not dependency.

04

Community First

Every decision we make starts with one question: does this serve the people of Memphis? If the answer is no, we don't do it.
